PW PAL programs are open to all regardless of experience, location, or any other program you may be part of. We have programs for every athlete age 4-17.

D-BACKS SOFTBALL CLUB

program best suited for female athletes ages 5 – 17

Join the only FEMALE EXCLUSIVE Fast-Pitch Softball Club and be part of the next generation of impact players. Run by Coaches with high-level experience at High School, Club, Travel and International levels. World class conditioning trainers. Softball specific skill instruction. Female specific training and information regarding nutrition, development, education, movement and footwork.

ROOKIE FAST-PITCH SOFTBALL PROGRAM

An introduction to the sport for Female Athletes U6 - U8

14U & 16U COMPETITIVE FAST-PITCH SOFTBALL

If you are a SERIOUS High School Softball Player, this is the program for you.

PW PAL T-BALL

Program best enjoyed by all athletes in pre-k through 1st grade

PAL offers the absolute best T-Ball and Developmental Baseball and Softball Programs anywhere! We can state that unequivocally since it all starts at the top and at the beginning with professional coaching that inspires proper learning of technique and fundamentals and fosters a love of the game by promoting success. The force behind PAL'S program is the legendary Lou Santos. PAL is honored to have the esteemed Lou Santos directing our T-Ball and developmental baseball and softball programs. Lou has nearly 50 (FIFTY) years coaching experience at all levels of the game.

PW PAL VOLLEYBALL

Program best enjoyed by boys and girls 3rd – 6th Grade.

PAL's youth volleyball program is designed to help boys and girls in grades 3-6 learn the fundamentals of volleyball using professional instructors that will lead the group in drills practicing setting, passing, overhand serving and hitting - all in a fun and friendly environment. The program will start with a 6 week skills session so that all participants learn proper techniques and fundamentals. We will then break into balanced teams for intramural scrimmages and also join a local league for a more competitive atmosphere.

PAL SOCCER SUNDAY'S For Boys & Girls

Kicking Kiddies program best enjoyed by all athletes in pre-k through 1st grade

The Kicking Kiddies Program main objective is to initiate a lifelong love of the game of soccer and to promote and emphasize the skill of dribbling, dribbling, dribbling, and more Dribbling.

PAL SMALL SIDED SOCCER SUNDAY'S For Boys & Girls

Small Sided Soccer program best enjoyed by all athletes in 2nd through 4th grade

Small-Sided Soccer are soccer games with fewer players competing on a smaller sized field. These are fun games that involve the players more because fewer players are sharing one ball and it has a definite developmental impact on our younger soccer players.

10 AND UNDER TENNIS

program best enjoyed by boys and girls new to the sport

This innovative tennis program is designed for beginner junior players ages 10 and Under. We use small courts, equipment and balls designed for young players. This program is fun and designed to give our youngest players the greatest opportunity to learn and love Tennis.

PW PAL OUTDOOR BASKETBALL

Clinics and Leagues for Boys and Girls 4th grade and up

Meet SETH GOODMAN - Basketball Director: The program is supervised by accomplished Women's College Basketball Coach Seth Goodman. In his 11 seasons at Monroe College, Coach Goodman had an overall 269-57 record....won 3 njcaa national championship....won 9 straight region XV championships....made 8 straight njcaa final four...and sent over 50 girls to four year colleges. And now meet ERIC SILVER, HEAD COACH and the Coach who used to Coach Seth Goodman!

6-Week program enjoyed by boys and girls in 6th – 8th Grade

OUTDOOR BASKETBALL LEAGUE

6-Week League (8 games + play offs) boys and girls in divisions 4th – 10th Grade

DAY: Starting starting September 10, 2017 GAME TIMES: will vary, some weeknights under the lights LOCATION: PAL Basketball Court (325 Main Street) FEE: $125 individual (includes shirt) all individual registrants will be placed on a team. TEAM FEE: $750 (Includes referee fees)

Team fee includes adult certified referee fee and shirts. CYO, AAU, Club and Travel teams welcome to enter as a team. Team entries must have their own adult coach. We are also accepting requests to be placed with friends. There is a zero tolerance policy for fighting.

The PW PAL Pirates play an NJBL Travel Schedule, feature professional coaching, are Babe Ruth / Cal Ripken sanctioned so there are no age or geographic restrictions and are the only local program that plays under the lights.

Our programs are open to all regardless of experience, location, ability to pay or any other program you may be part of. Players must be disciplined, focused, and coachable.

All PW PAL teams are coached by outstanding professional coaches, not volunteer parents. John and Chris Zucci are our lead instructors, they are truly remarkable, talented, coaches.

HIGH SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES

COACHING: PW PAL hires High School athletes as Assistant Coaches in ALL our programs. Work under the tutelage of our professional coaching staff and not only will you get paid doing something you love but you will also become better at your chosen sport. Compensation can be monetary, community service or a combination, whatever is most valuable to you.

SENIOR EXPERIENCE: Complete your Senior Experience at PW PAL. It can be an experience actively involved working with kids or tailored toward your interests in a non profit setting. In addition to direct coaching, we offer experiences in photography, newspaper article writing, public relations, web development and maintenance and almost anything else you can think of.

The Port Washington Police Athletic League has been a vital part of the greater North Shore community since 1948. Continuously operating in the heart of Town, on Main Street, adjacent to the Town Dock, we are a volunteer run organization dedicated to providing the most comprehensive learning, playing, developmental sports program in the area so that our young athletes can grow to productive members of the Town and society.
